A Rosé Wine from Provence, France
made with Organic Grapes

AIX EN PROVENCE

1442, Rosé Wine made with Organic Grapes

The aromatic notes of red fruits, citrus fruits and pink grapefruit are fully expressed to reveal a wine with the perfect balance between incredible freshness, authenticity and delicacy, capturing the essence of a unique French Provence terroir.

50 % Grenache, 20 % Cinsault,
15 % Mourvèdre,
15 % Cabernet Sauvignon

In 1442, Guillaume de Damian, an Avignon resident, bought the lordship of Vernègues where the vines are located today. The history of the vineyard as we know it now began at this time.

Successive families contributed to the reputation of the vineyard by allowing the vines to express themselves in order to reveal the full potential of their fruit.
The result is a wine of great expression…

A DISTINCTIVE VINEYARD

In the heart of AOP Côteaux
d’Aix-en-Provence, France

The vineyard parcels are located in one of the best terroirs of the appellation, between 200 and 300 meters above sea level.
The forests and valleys of the region intertwine in as many climates and soils particularly conducive to the cultivation of vines.
The vines are mainly planted on sun-drenched, clay-limestone hillsides, and in the hollows of cool, shady valleys.

The biodiversity is exceptional on-site. The site is well-preserved by exacting organic standards and serves as a refuge for a rich variety of flora and fauna, which contribute to the vitality and complexity of our soils.
The protection of the biodiversity is one of our commitments.
